Cowboy Cuisine

"Chuckwagon Catering.. An authentic "Cowboy Kitchen" provides a savory meal cooked over an open campfire for groups large and small. This presentation of cowboy culture and cuisine features genuine oven cooking and period dress from the 1800's that captures "the feeling of the campsite" on the cattle trail. Your guests enjoy the nostalgia of a time when the chuckwagon was the only "cafe" a trailhand knew. Cowboy songs and storytelling add just the touch to put you right back in the old West.

Chuckwagon Menu for Special Events

Breakfast, lunch or dinner menus are available starting at $17 per person. We provide a wide range of menus to choose from with traditional meals like cattle drive breakfast that includes: eggs, bacon, biscuits & redeye gravy or pancakes, cowboy coffee and juice. Lunch or dinner menus offer a variety of choices: cowboy steak dinner, prime rib, chicken fried steak, tasty hamburgers & hotdogs, smoked brisket & sausage, spicy Texas chili, or hearty vegetable beef stew. All meals are served with a variety of delicious side dishes and desserts.

If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary try one of our Spanish influenced meals such as enchiladas, fajitas or tacos, all served with the traditional Spanish rice, refried or charro beans and chips & salsa.

Our most requested desserts are Dutch oven cobblers, cooked right over the campfire. You can choose apple, peach or cherry. Other desserts include banana pudding, moist carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, rich chocolate & key lime pies or cookies and ice cream. We will try to accommodate any special request. All condiments and dinnerware are provided for the event.
