The "Fathers Of Texas" series continues with the all new Camp Cookie & The Cow Camp Review CD.
Camp Cookie is a collection of songs and tales from the cattle trails. The project is dedicated to all the camp cooks, cattlemen and cowboys, in memory of all those great men and women who sacrificed and made contributions to the settling of the west and made the American cattle industry what it is today.
Enjoy the music, humor and just plain good story telling as K.R. Wood and his band paint a vivid picture of life on the Old Western cattle trails. These rugged men and women explored and charted the back country and many of the trails we are familiar with today.
Special thanks to American Chuck Wagon Association, Texas historical Commission, Texas Commission on the Arts, Texas Cattle Raisers Association,Acadamy of Western Artists, Western music Association and Acadamy of Western Artists.
